​Passage:
​It was a clear night at Zishan’s grandparents’ village home, where the full moon was shining brightly. After having a delicious supper, all family members gathered in the yard. Zishan’s excited cousins, Jahid and Shima, who study at a village school and are of the same age, joined them along with their grandparents. Sitting on a bamboo mat, everyone felt relaxed, talking, laughing, and joking.
​Jahid shared how he played for his school in the Upazila Inter-School Tournament and asked Zishan about his sports activities. However, Zishan could not answer because there was no playground around his house or school. Shima then shared her achievement of winning the first prize for a 100-metre sprint in her school’s annual sports and sang a heartwarming Bhawaiya song, which delighted everyone. Finally, Julie’s aunt, Mrs. Jahanara Khan, told hilarious jokes that made everyone laugh uncontrollably, extending their family gathering far into the night.
​২. বাংলা অনুবাদ (Bengali Translation)
​কবিতা:
​ধীরে ও নীরবভাবে চাঁদ রূপালী জুতো পরে রাতের আকাশে হেঁটে বেড়ায়। সে এদিক-সেদিক তাকায় এবং রূপালী গাছের ওপর রূপালী ফল দেখতে পায়।
​গদ্য (প্যাসেজ):
​গ্রামের বাড়িতে জিশানের দাদা-দাদির উঠানে একটি পরিষ্কার ও উজ্জ্বল পূর্ণিমার রাত ছিল। সবাই মিলে সুস্বাদু রাতের খাবার খাওয়ার পর উঠানে বসল। জিশানের চাচাতো ভাই-বোন জাহিদ ও সিমা খুব উত্তেজিত ছিল, কারণ তারা একই বয়সের এবং গ্রামের একটি স্কুলে পড়ে। দাদা-দাদিও তাদের সাথে যোগ দিলেন। তারা সবাই একটি বাঁশের চাটাইয়ে বসেছিল এবং সবাই খুব স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যবোধ করছিল—কথা বলছিল, হাসছিল ও মজা করছিল।
​জাহিদ উপজেলা আন্তঃস্কুল টুর্নামেন্টে তার স্কুলের হয়ে খেলার গল্প শোনাল এবং জিশানকে তার খেলাধুলা সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করল। কিন্তু জিশান কোনো উত্তর দিতে পারল না, কারণ তার বাড়ি বা স্কুলের আশেপাশে কোনো খেলার মাঠ নেই। তখন সিমা তার স্কুলের বার্ষিক ক্রীড়ানুষ্ঠানে ১০০ মিটার দৌড়ে প্রথম পুরস্কার জেতার কথা শোনাল এবং একটি সুন্দর ভাওয়াইয়া গান গেয়ে শোনাল, যা সবাই খুব উপভোগ করল। পরিশেষে, জুলির ফুফু মিসেস জাহানারা খান কিছু মজার কৌতুক শোনালেন যা শুনে সবাই অট্টহাসিতে ফেটে পড়ল এবং পারিবারিক এই আড্ডা অনেক রাত পর্যন্ত চলল।
